Most coaches, facilitators, creators, and artists were never trained in that.

And it has been painful to see. At first I was blind for it. I thought everyone knew. But along the way, I found out that most people are trained in their craft — but not in building something that actually works.

I began to realize my advantage, and also finally honor my upbringing.

My upbringing was a training in making it.
In understanding what it takes to create success in life and in business.
‍
When I was six years old, I was already selling my paintings to the neighbors.

And every evening when my dad came home from work, I asked him questions.
Because my father was the person companies called when they were almost bankrupt — and needed to become profitable again.
‍
He would step in, see what others couldn’t see, and turn the whole situation around.
‍
And I watched him do it.
Over and over again.

Without realizing it at the time, he was coaching me to think like someone who creates results.
‍
During my studies I wrote my thesis on one question:
How can creatives actually make money with their art?I wrote my thesis on this exact topic.
‍Because I was frustrated.
So much talent —and yet it almost never works.

I interviewed 56 people.
From founders of the biggest fashion brands in the Netherlands to industry experts to the designers themselves.
‍
I graduated with cum laude and a business model canvas for this specific audience.
‍
Soon after, I was invited to give workshops during Fashion Week.
‍
My first business was born.

And being in business at 24 became one of the greatest trainings of my life.
‍
I learned something essential:
Taking responsibility for everyone else is not entrepreneurship.
‍
Ownership is.

I stepped into consulting to deepen my business experience. And when I walked into that interview, I got the job.
‍
Because even then I knew something:
I was making it.
‍
Not because everything was perfect.
But because I kept learning. Developing. Investing in my greatest asset: myself.
‍
I stay a beginner — while knowing I am the one.

But here is the truth.
All of that happened while I was still disconnected from my deepest gifts.
‍
That’s why my first business wasn’t the one.
A couple years before I was diagnosed with early-stage cancer. And that moment sent me on a path of inner freedom that began when I was 21.
‍
Because I stayed on that path — learning, training, healing, expanding — I eventually came back to myself.
‍
Friends started asking me for help.
‍
And from that demand, The Root Method was born. A lot of you know how that story continued: Still rocking it.
‍
About a year into serving with The Root Method, something else emerged. After a free challenge called Be More You, women asked me to continue guiding them.
‍
That became Evolve & Expand.
What began as a 7-week training grew into a 7-month initiation into inner freedom and natural flourishing.
‍
Women have gone through it multiple times.
Because every round frees them deeper from conditioning.
From family expectations.
From societal programming.
From limiting beliefs.
So they can come home to their gifts — and start trusting themselves and life.
‍
And as I continued on this path, my business expanded too.
‍

20K months.
35K months.
55K months.
80K months.
‍
Even while being a single mother.
People often ask me how I do it.
‍
And the answer is actually simple:

I keep learning.
I stay close to mentors who expand me.
I seek wisdom from many sources.
I practice my Liberated Life principles.
I become more of my true nature every year.
I sharpen my skills and my power.
I move beyond my edge.
‍
I operate like a real entrepreneur.
But in my feminine essence.
‍
And when a woman learns to do that…
Success becomes natural.
‍
And everyone around her benefits.
‍
That’s why I created The Field of Power.A space for women who want to step into the mindset, embodiment, and leadership of someone who actually makes it.

Not by forcing life.
But by becoming the woman who can hold it.
